Players report to Training Camps across the OHL – Ontario Hockey League

September is just about here and OHL training camps are getting started. Here’s a one stop shop for all 20 clubs and their activities over the course of the next week.

BARRIE COLTS
Training Camp at Sadlon Arena runs Tuesday through Thursday, culminating in the annual Blue vs. White game at 7:00pm. Admission is free throughout camp. Get in on the free hot dogs at Thursday’s Blue vs. White game.

ERIE OTTERS
The Otters were the lone OHL club to hold their training camp last week, doing so at Erie Insurance Arena. The Otters trimmed their camp roster from 60 down to 40 ahead of the club’s final scrimmage. Four of the club’s top five picks in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection attended camp including second overall pick Malcolm Spence.

FLINT FIREBIRDS
Nearly 50 players are in attendance at Firebirds training camp that runs Tuesday through Thursday at Flint Iceland Arena. Training camp is closed to the public until Thursday’s Blue vs. White game set for 10:00am. Admission is free. Camp Details

GUELPH STORM
The Storm opened camp on Monday and continue on-ice activities through Thursday with a Black vs. White game at 5:00pm. The Storm will visit the Mississauga Steelheads in exhibition action on Friday night. Training camp is being held at the Sleeman Centre and is open to the public. Camp Details

HAMILTON BULLDOGS
The defending OHL champions are holding their training camp at Morgan Firestone Arena in Ancaster, with all on-ice sessions open to the public. The Dogs held an Orientation Camp for newcomers over the weekend. Camp Details

KINGSTON FRONTENACS
The Fronts hold training camp at the Leon’s Centre with scrimmages getting underway on Thursday and running through Friday. They host the Ottawa 67’s in pre-season action on Sunday. Camp Details

KITCHENER RANGERS
The Rangers open camp on Tuesday at The Aud, with scrimmages taking place through Thursday with a Blue vs. White game at 10:00am. Training camp is open to the public, with free admission. The Rangers kick-off their 60th anniversary season with Fan Fest following the conclusion of camp on Sunday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Camp Details

LONDON KNIGHTS
The London Knights open camp on Friday, with scrimmages running through Sunday when they hold their annual Green vs. Gold game at 2:00pm at Budweiser Gardens. Camp is free and open to the public. Camp Details

MISSISSAUGA STEELHEADS
The Mississauga Steelheads opened training camp on Monday. Eleventh round 2021 selection Mason Zebeski scored the overtime winner to give Team Blue a 4-3 victory in their scrimmage opener.

NIAGARA ICEDOGS
The Niagara IceDogs kick-off training camp on Tuesday at the Meridian Centre and on-ice activities are free and open to the public. Scrimmages take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, culminating in a Black vs. White game on Wednesday at 3:00pm. A total of 31 forwards, 12 defencemen and six goaltenders will attend camp. Camp Details

NORTH BAY BATTALION
The Troops opened camp on Monday at the Memorial Gardens with 49 players in attendance. Teams Green and White play their first of five intrasquad games at 10:00am on Tuesday. Admission is free for all intrasquad games, two of which are scheduled for Wednesday and another on Thursday. Camp Details

OSHAWA GENERALS
The Oshawa Generals opened camp on Monday at the Tribute Communities Centre. The team hits the ice for scrimmages on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the action free and open to the public. The annual Red vs. White game takes place on Thursday at 11:00am. Camp Details

OTTAWA 67’s
The Ottawa 67’s welcome players for training camp on Tuesday, with on-ice scrimmages taking place on Wednesday and Thursday at TD Place. Wednesday’s action includes a 3-on-3 tournament in the morning followed by the first of three Red vs. White games that continue to take place on Thursday. The Barber Poles will host a Skills Competition on Sunday, September 11th. Camp Details

OWEN SOUND ATTACK
The Owen Sound Attack opened camp to the rookies on Monday, with main camp slated to open on Wednesday at the Bayshore. A total of 35 rookies are in attendance at the club’s prospect camp. On-ice scrimmages at main camp start on Thursday at 10:20am. Fans are welcome to attend all on-ice activities free of charge. Camp Details

PETERBOROUGH PETES
The Petes open camp at the Memorial Centre on Tuesday, with fitness testing and assessments before on-ice activity begins with scrimmages on Wednesday morning. The annual Maroon and White game takes place on Friday at 4:05pm. Camp Details

SAGINAW SPIRIT
The Spirit will hold their training camp at the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena, with on-ice scrimmages beginning on Tuesday at 7:30pm followed by another at Wednesday at 12:30pm. Admission to both games is free and open to the public. Camp Details

SARNIA STING
The Sting host their training camp starting Tuesday at Progressive Auto Sales Arena. A two-day Orientation Camp for rookies will take place before main camp opens on Thursday. Fans can go see the future of the Sting on Tuesday and Wednesday before main camp scrimmages take place on Thursday at 4:00pm and Friday at 10:10am. The annual Black vs. White game in support of the United Way takes place on Friday night at 6:00pm. Camp Details

SOO GREYHOUNDS
A total of 56 players report to Greyhounds training camp on Tuesday. All on-ice sessions are free to attend, with scrimmages taking place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday before Friday night’s Luke Williams Memorial Red vs. White game at 7:07pm. Camp Details

SUDBURY WOLVES
The Wolves kick off their 50th anniversary season with Orientation Camp for rookies on Monday and Tuesday before main camp opens from Wednesday through until Friday. The annual Blue and White game is set for Friday morning at 10:00am. A total of 32 rookies are in attendance at Orientation Camp. Camp Details

WINDSOR SPITFIRES
The Windsor Spitfires welcome 57 players to training camp at the WFCU Centre on Thursday. Scrimmages get underway on Friday and the annual Blue and White game takes place on Saturday at 4:00pm. All on-ice sessions are free and open to the public. Camp Details
