The Blue Jackets have announced the signing of forward Cole Sillinger today.
Sillinger is signed to a two-year, $4.5 million contract with an AAV of $2.25 million.

Sillinger has played 220 NHL games, scoring 32 goals and totaling 74 points. He’s also played 11 AHL games, scoring six points.

Don Waddell said in a club statement, “Cole Sillinger is a very smart, two-way center who competes extremely hard at both ends of the ice,” said Waddell. “He played over 200 NHL games before turning 21 and is coming off his best season, so we are looking forward to his continued growth as a player. He is going to be an important part of the present and future of this club.”
That leaves the Jackets with no one left to sign and with just under $16 million in cap space for the upcoming season.
