The Carolina Hurricanes have announced that they have promoted Peter Harrold to Director of Player Development.
Harrold has been with the Hurricanes organization for five seasons and had previously served as a skills development coach and most recently as the team’s defensemen development coach.
The former defenseman spent parts of nine seasons in the NHL between the LA Kings and New Jersey Devils, registering 13 goals and 42 points in 274 games.
The Boston College grad was also a two-time selection to the AHL All-Star Game.
