It does not appear as if Jacob Trouba will miss any games for high-sticking Boston Bruins forward Trent Federic in Saturday’s 7-4 victory.
The NHL Department of Player Safety announced Saturday night that the Rangers captain will be fined $5,000 for his actions – the maximum fine allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Trouba and Federic got tangled up after a whistle when the Rangers defenseman swung his stIck and struck the Bruins forward across the side of his helmet.
Trouba, who has a reputation for his physicality, was not called for a penalty when the incident occurred.
