Callum Cheynowski commits to Bulldogs – Ontario Hockey League

HAMILTON, ONTARIO.  Hamilton Bulldogs President and General Manager, Steve Staios announced today the signing of 2022 third round selection (63rd overall), Callum Cheynowski to a Standard Player’s Agreement.

Cheynowski, a Welland, ON native, arrives in Hamilton following a tremendous season of development for the offensively gifted defenseman in 2021-22. Cheynowski, 5-foot-11, 177lbs, broke out with the Southern Tier Admirals U16 AAA with six goals and seven assists for 13 points in 17 games and continued to get better. An outstanding six goals and six assists for 12 points in eight playoff games followed while also starring with the Thorold Blackhawks of the GOJHL, posting four points in five games at the junior level, leading the team in points-per-game by a defenseman.
