A dominant, 4-0, victory over Michigan sends Boston College through to its first title game since 2012.
The stars all shined in the win for the Eagles. Freshman Will Smith extended his national lead on points, with two goals for his 70th and 71st points of the season. Cutter Gauthier and Gabe Perreault also scored for BC to help them continue their run as the tournament’s top seed.
Freshman goalie Jacob Fowler picked up his third shutout of the season, making a save on each of Michigan’s 32 shots on net.
Boston College will take on Denver for the national championship, set for Saturday at 6 p.m.
