What an impressive win for the Maple Leafs!

They’re now 6-1-0 without Auston Matthews in the lineup. Ridiculous.

At any rate, we kicked off the Thursday edition of Leafs Morning Take by discussing Rosey’s favourite athlete LeBron James. He’s decided to take a break from social media. Unsurprisingly, Rosey had some quick commentary on that.

After that, we talked some Morgan Frost. By all accounts, it sounds like the Aurora kid – son of long-time Leafs PA voice Andy – could be on the outs in Philadelphia. Lastly, brought to you by Charm Diamond Centres, fresh off winning his second Grey Cup, Toronto Argonauts QB Chad Kelly dropped by the show. Believe it or not, Chad, who broke his leg in the East Final against Montreal, was on the massage chair getting treatment during the interview. We talked winning in Toronto, building a winning culture, and what it’s like having Buffalo Bills great Jim Kelly as an uncle.

Be sure to tune into the Friday edition of Leafs Morning Take. The plan is to give a full-fledged quarter pole assessment of the Maple Leafs. Also, we’ll preview Sunday’s tilt at home with the Utah Hockey Club.
