Game notes: In the second game of a back-to-back mid-week stint, the Detroit Red Wings hit the road to face the Minnesota Wild on national TV. The Wings face one of the hottest teams in the NHL, the Wild are winners in seven of their past 10 games. Minnesota forward Mats Zuccarello has also raised his game lately, scoring six points in his past five games — five of those coming from assists.

They’ll also have to do it without captain Dylan Larkin, who took a puck to the right hand/arm in Tuesday night’s game against Carolina and departed in the third period.
