The leaves are changing colors, there’s a chill in the air, kids are back at school, and hockey is finally back. Hockey’s return to North America gave us more than enough stories to get into on and off of the ice:

The jerseys in the image above are not photoshopped, nor are they a camera trick. At the Oilers Fan Day this past weekend, a Twitter user and other fans found these jerseys at the team’s locker room sale.
The rumor mill had the ideas floating that the Oilers last season may have been looking at trying to acquire the likes of Justin Braun and Carson Soucy, but seeing actual jerseys made up for them is odd. Even more peculiar is the fact that these uniforms saw the light of day and ended up at the locker room sale.
It makes you wonder how many teams have crested jerseys for potential trade targets…
Gritty’s Birthday Looked Amazing

This past weekend the Flyers’ iconic mascot had a celebration with all of the other mascots representing Philadelphia’s sports franchises.
My thoughts with the arena staffers at the Wells Fargo Center that had to clean all of that popcorn from the seats.
The Bruce Boudreau-Kevin Owens Friendship Is As Strong As Ever
The WWE was in Vancouver this past weekend, and the former Universal, Intercontinental, and NXT champion Kevin Owens took time during his promo in the ring to show love to his pal, Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau while wearing a jersey gifted from Boudreau himself.
Even if you’re not a wrestling fan, this continues to be one of the more wholesome and amazing hockey meets wrestling crossovers.
