London leads series 2-0

  • George Diaco’s first of the postseason was the OT winner, coming with 4:13 left on the clock
  • Trailing 4-3 with less than a minute remaining, Montreal Canadiens prospect Cedrick Guindon scored to force OT
  • Easton Cowan had a goal and an assist for London while Denver Barkey drew a pair of primary assists
  • 2023 NHL Draft prospect Colby Barlow scored twice for the Attack
  • Corbin Votary made 48 saves in the loss as Owen Sound was outshot 53-28; London outshot Owen Sound 19-3 in the second period
  • The Knights went up 2-0 before a Sunday crowd of 9,036 at Budweiser Gardens

  • North Bay carried a 3-2 lead into the third period before James Hardie and Charlie Callaghan scored to give Mississauga the win
  • Hardie earned first star honours with two goals and an assist
  • The Steelheads become the only OHL team to split games one and two to start the first round
  • Mississauga outshot North Bay 44-26 as rookie Ryerson Leenders earned the win opposite Dom DiVincentiis, who made 40 saves

Ottawa leads series 2-0

  • Last year’s Wayne Gretzky 99 award winner Logan Morrison extended his #OHLPlayoffs point streak to 21 games dating back to last season scoring twice. Morrison recorded a point in all 19 playoff games for Hamilton last year as well as all five games in the 2022 Memorial Cup.
  • Collin MacKenzie made 29 saves, stretching his current winning streak to nine games in the Ottawa crease
  • Undermanned on the blue line, Jordyn Ertel fell back to play defence for the Generals
  • A crowd of 3,009 took in Game 2 at Gatineau’s Slush Puppie Centre

Barrie leads series 2-1

  • Dallas Stars prospect Artem Grushnikov led the way with his first career OHL hat trick, adding an assist for four points in the win

  • 2023 NHL Draft prospect Nick Lardis and big blueliner Noah Van Vliet each drew two assists for the Bulldogs
  • Callum Chisholm scored twice in the loss for Barrie
  • Colts captain Brandt Clarke was ejected in the second half of the second period, being assessed a game misconduct for kneeing
  • Matteo Drobac started game three after Tristan Malboeuf started games one and two for Hamilton; Drobac made 27 saves for the win
