The contract will see Wolf make $850,000 at the NHL level.
A product of Gilroy, Calif., Wolf spent time in both the AHL and NHL this past season. With the Wranglers, he posted a 20-12-3 record, a 2.45 GAA and a .922 SV% in 36 appearances. In 17 regular season appearances with the Flames, Wolf collected a 7-7-1 record to go along with a 3.16 GAA and a .893 SV%.
Drafted by the Flames in the seventh round of the 2019 NHL Draft, Wolf turned pro in the 2021-22 season and has posted stellar AHL numbers since then, putting up a 97-32-10 record, a 2.29 GAA and a .926 SV% in 141 appearances.
With Jacob Markstrom traded to New Jersey, the path has been cleared for Wolf to assume the net in Calgary. With Dan Vladar most likely rounding out the tandem, Wolf will have the opportunity to be in the NHL full-time next season.
