The Boston Bruins announced they have signed goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo to a Professional Tryout Agreement.
Kaskisuo signed with the Laval Rocket late last season and had a 7-4 record with a .909 SV% and 2.90 GAA in 13 appearances.
The 30-year-old has played in two career NHL games and 108 career AHL games. He has a 53-36-13 record with a 2.68 GAA and .909 SV% with the Toronto Marlies, Chicago Wolves, and Laval Rocket.

Kaskisuo spent 2021-23 in the Swedish Hockey League with Leksand IF.
The Vantaa, Finland, native originally signed with the Nashville Predators after two years at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
With Bruins star goaltender Jeremy Swayman unsigned heading into training camp Kaskisuo brings professional experience and can fill in as a backup to Joonas Korpisalo in the NHL or play AHL games if Brandon Bussi or Michael DiPietro fill in for Swayman.
The goaltender has amassed a following for himself on his personal TikTok page, chronicling his adventures with Laval last season and time with Da Beauty League in Minnesota this summer.
