Former CBJ forward Artem Anisimov announced that he is retiring from hockey. He made the announcement today via his Instagram page.
Anisimov played 771 NHL games for the New York Rangers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks, and Ottawa Senators.

Anisimov was traded to the Blue Jackets in 2013 in the Rick Nash trade. He played 168 games and had 84 points for Columbus. For his NHL career, he had 376 points.
In 2021, he left the NHL and played a season in the KHL, playing for his hometown team Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. After one season in the KHL, he returned to North America and played two seasons in the AHL.
As he said in his retirement post – The Arty Party will live on!
