Wild Make Big Statement With Latest Win

by admin

The Minnesota Wild (4-0-2) made a big statement with their 5-1 win over the Florida Panthers (4-3-1) on Tuesday night.

Minnesota is off to a great start this season. There has been chatter that the Wild haven’t had a real test yet so Tuesday’s 5-1 win over the defending Stanley Cup Champions, should put an end to that conversation.

The Wild scored the first goal of the game for the sixth consecutive game. Their 10 total points this season are tied for the fourth-highest through six games in franchise history and also is the most since the 2021-22 season.

They have yet to trail in a game this season for a span of 360 minutes. The Wild’s streak trails only the 1969-70 Boston Bruins (457:21, seven games) for the longest in NHL history in both games and total minutes.

Minnesota has another big test ahead of them on Thursday as they continue their road trip in Florida to play the Tampa Bay Lightning.
