MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) has released its annual Preseason Coaches’ Poll for men’s ice hockey. The poll is compiled based on rankings from the league’s 11 head coaches.
In a unanimous vote, Hobart College (121 points) took the top spot in the preseason poll after winning back-to-back NCAA National Championships. Skidmore College (101 points) was voted second after advancing to the NEHC championship last season, while Norwich University (96 points) is slated to finish third. Babson College (81 points) and Salve Regina University (78 points) round out the top five. See below for the full poll.

Teams open the regular season non-conference schedule on Friday, November 1 with all 11 teams seeing action that weekend. League play begins the following Friday, November 8, with all teams squaring off against each other twice in the regular season.
