The Queens University Gaels menâs hockey program has announced that Kingston Frontenacs graduate Lucas Peric has committed for the 2022-23 season.
Drafted 46th overall in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection, the Georgetown, Ont. native played two seasons with the Ottawa 67âs before joining the Frontenacs. Peric recorded 76 points scoring 19 goals and 57 assists (19-57-76) in 224 games over his OHL tenure. The OHL did not play any games in 2020-21 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
âI chose Queenâs because I felt it was the best program for me and one where I can further develop my hockey career and my post secondary education in a first class settingâ, said the six-foot, 180lb defenceman.
