News: Sunday Highlights: T6 take back a win from Riveters

Week two of the Premier Hockey Federation season wrapped up with a Sunday afternoon game in New Jersey.

Toronto Six 5, Metropolitan Riveters 2

The Toronto Six earned a weekend split against the Metropolitan Riveters with a 5-2 victory, powered by a three-goal third period that broke the 2-2 deadlock. Leah Lum scored twice including the first goal and the game-winner while adding an assist. Tereza Vanisova also had a three-point game with a goal and two assists. Brittany Howard scored her league-leading fifth goal of the season for insurance, and Emma Woods scored for the second straight game. Sarah Bujold continued her strong weekend for the Rivs with two more goals, including one short-handed for the second game in a row. Carly Jackson won her first start for T6 stopping 25 shots opposite Rachel McQuigge who made her third straight start and also turned aside 25.
