- Reigning OHL player of the week Matyas Sapovaliv scored twice with the goalie pulled in the final five minutes to force overtime.
- Centre Ethan Hay recorded 3 assists in the victory, Hay also won 26/40 faceoffs in the contest helping Flint win 61/89 faceoffs in the contest.
- Rookie Michael Misa scored and added two assists for Saginaw.
- Nathan Day earned his first OHL playoff win as he stopped 33 of 37 shots.
- Flint cut Saginaw’s series lead in half before a crowd of 3,016 at the Dort Financial Center.
