A total of 122 past and present OHL players will hit the ice in the 2023 Calder Cup Playoffs that get underway tonight. A total of 11 players on the below list competed in the OHL during the 2022-23 season.
All 23 teams competing in the American Hockey League playoffs feature at least one OHL graduate on their roster, with the Springfield Thunderbirds, top affiliate of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues, leading the way with 11 OHL alumni. The Colorado Eagles, top affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, trail close behind with nine OHL grads on their playoff roster.
A total of 12 OHL graduates won a Calder Cup title with the Chicago Wolves last June.
