The Kitchener Rangers kept coming right until the final buzzer but came up one goal short as the high-powered Windsor Spitfires took Game 1 of their Western Conference Semi-Final series by a score of 6-5 on home ice.

Wyatt Johnston led the way with a goal and three assists while Alex Christopoulos netted a hat trick. Kitchener’s Joseph Serpa responded with two goals and two assists while Mitchell Martin finished with two goals and a helper.

All four series are in action on a busy Sunday in the OHL Playoffs.
