The Calgary Flames announced they have recalled forwards Jakob Pelletier and Walker Duehr, and assigned Adam Klapka to the Calgary Wranglers.
Pelletier and Duehr are tied for 13th in AHL scoring, each have 19 points in 20 games. Dueher has 11 goals while Pelletier has demonstrated his playmaking ability with 16 assists.
The duo have formed what has been the most productive line in the AHL with centreman Rory Kerins, who is tied for the league lead in goals (15) and sits third in points with 22.
The 23-year-old Pelletier has 10 points in 37 career NHL games, Duehr has 18 points in 68 career games.
The 26th pick in the 2019 draft, Pelletier went unclaimed on waivers earlier this season.
Klapka is pointless in six games with the Flames this season, averaging just 8:29 of ice time per game. He has eight points in seven AHL games.
With Anthony Mantha out for the season and Justin Kirkland on injured reserve expect one or both of Pelletier and Duehr to be in the lineup for Calgary’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Dec. 3.
