MK Lightning have signed forward Richard Hartmann on a deal until the end of the season.
The British-trained offensive player, 18, has already showcased his potential in the Scottish National League (SNL) with Dundee Comets.
Last season, he featured 21 times for the club and scored 35 points (18 goals and 17 assists).
On his arrival, head coach Tim Wallace said: “Richard is a strong player with grit. He will bring energy and be hard to play against.
“His speed is there and he should create some offence with his work ethic.
“He has a lot of potential and the right attitude to be a great player. I am excited to work with him.”
Hartmann, who has been given the number 72 jersey for Milton Keynes, made his debut for the Planet Ice NIHL National Division leaders last weekend.
