Non-Hockey Fans Give Amazing Answers On Logos
To the average hockey fan, it’s easy to identify the logos of various hockey fans, but what do non-hockey fans think about them? Twitter user @lowerbodyinjury asked a friend who doesn’t watch hockey to guess the teams based on logos and the answers were hilarious.
This content is incredible, and it’s free.
The Carolina Hurricanes have talented fans
For most teams, the end of the season means it’s time to melt down the ice and go off into the summer before getting ready for the next season. For a few others, they give fans a chance to do something fun by painting on it. Fans take full advantage of the event, and some have shown off how truly artistic they are.
In the case of the Carolina Hurricanes, who allow their season ticket holders to enjoy the ability to paint the ice, one fan, Michelle McMahan, showed off her exceptional artistic talent at PNC Arena.
When there’s art as cool as that on the ice, it makes you wonder if there’s a way that we could save these drawings somehow.
Wayne Gretzky’s final Game-Worn Oilers Jersey Is VERY Valuable
There are some things in life you can’t put a price on. Unless it’s the Great One’s final Edmonton Oilers jersey.
Wayne Gretzky’s jersey from the 1988 Stanley Cup final was sold for US $1.452 million on Grey Flannel Auctions Sunday night. The winning bid was just one of 12, with the minimum bid being $250,000 US.
The final Oilers Gretzky jersey is now officially the most expensive of all time, surpassing the sale of Paul Henderson’s 1972 Team Canada Summit Series jersey which sold for $1.3 million.
Another hockey record belongs to Wayne Gretzky, even in retirement.
