Ales Hemsky Donned an Oilers Jersey Once Again

One of the reasons to watch the Edmonton Oilers in the 2000s and 2010s was Ales Hemsky, and this past weekend, he returned to Alberta for the first time in many years to don an orange and blue jersey.

In Lloydminster, Alta, Hemsky took part with various Oilers and Flames alums in the Boundary Battle of Alberta game, where players from different eras of both teams’ took part in the fun event. In Hemsky’s case, it was the first time he wore an Edmonton jersey since his trade to Ottawa back in 2014.
