Today’s the big day, folks.
With a win tonight on home ice in Game 5, the Leafs can advance to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2004. Yeah, it’s been that long. Of course, the Thursday edition of Leafs Morning Take acted as a full-fledged Game 5 preview.
We kicked things off by discussing the projected lineup, one that does not include Michael Bunting. For the record, that was the right call. After that, we broke down what Toronto needs to do to finally get the job done here.
Powered by our friends over at Skip, we were delighted to be joined by 2019 Stanley Cup champion and the little brother of Luke Schenn, Brayden, for a fun little chat. We talked about Luke (a lot), Ryan O’Reilly, Noel Acciari, and killer instinct.
Lastly, for the Betano Wrap Up, we zoned in on Game 5 and the game total.
