Standing at 5-foot-10, 146lbs, Mbuyi is a promising addition to the Attack’s team. He played 59 games with the Toronto Marlboros U16 AAA team last season, recording 48 goals and 46 assists.
Mbuyi says that it is his dream to play in the OHL.”I am super excited to sign with the Attack and Can’t wait to get started.”
“…I can’t believe it’s happening. None of this would be possible without my family, my late mom, dad and brother supporting me through all of this. I am so thankful for them. I would also like to thank all my coaches throughout the years who made me the player I am today.”
“The Attack would like to welcome Pierce and his family to the Attack organization” says Attack General Manager, Dale DeGray. “We feel very fortunate to have been able to draft Pierce in this year’s priority selection. Pierce brings an interesting combination of speed, skill and tenacity.” DeGray goes on to say that Pierce is a ‘very smart and hard-working player’.
“He’s very accountable in all areas of the rink. He is a very good skater and has a tremendous shot, scoring at every level he played at. We look forward to seeing Pierce in an Attack jersey this coming September. Once again, Welcome to the organization and the Attack family.”
