Two very different topics were discussed this week on The Hockey Show.
That’ll happen when it’s the middle of the summer.
THS hosts Roy Bellamy and David Dwork got into the Edmonton Oilers hiring of Stan Bowman as their new general manager after he was reinstated by the NHL earlier this month.
The controversial hiring has been met with a decent amount of pushback, both from a segment of Oilers fans and the hockey community at large.
After giving their take on the Bowman hiring, Roy and Dave get into ranking their Top 5 hockey movies.
A total of 13 movies were considered, and they were judged by four criteria.
The 13 movies under consideration were Slap Shot, Goon parts 1 and 2, The Mighty Ducks trilogy, Happy Gilmore, Miracle, Tooth Fairy, MVP: Most Valuable Primate, Youngblood, Sudden Death and Mystery, Alaska.
