Ivan Demidov, who’s not even in the NHL yet shows up first at number 20, followed in quick succession by Cole Caufield at 26 and Nick Suzuki at 27. Power forward Juraj Slafkovsky comes in at 31, followed by rookie defenseman Lane Hutson at number 42.
After that, you have to go all the way down to 83 to find (hopefully healthy) Kirby Dach and Kaiden Guhle comes in at 99. That’s seven Canadiens players on a list that includes 100 skaters or in another words, 7% of the list is part of the Sainte-Flanelle’s organization.
