San Jose Sharks training camp begins this morning and many questions will be answered before the start of the regular season.

1. What Is Logan Couture’s Health Status?
This is arguably the most prominent unknown heading into the 24-25 season. The news around the captain hasn’t been positive or negative this offseason. Couture said he would start skating in July, yet that doesn’t appear to be the case.

So, will Logan Couture hit the ice this morning?
2. Tyler Toffoli Has A Letter, But What Will His Offensive Impact Be?
During Sharks Media Day, pictures of the marquee free agent signing Tyler Toffoli sporting an ‘A’ on his jersey surfaced.
The 32-year-old looks primed to start the year with No. 1 pick Mackin Celebrini as his center. San Jose has brought in veterans like Toffoli to help mold the top pick into a superstar.
While Toffoli will be needed to lead the team, he will also be relied upon to score goals. How many goals will he put up in his first season in Teal?
3. Will Collin Graf Make The Opening Night Lineup?
When Collin Graf signed with the Sharks last season, it came as a shock to some. That initial thought quickly disappeared when Graf talked about the opportunity he was given to jump straight to the NHL from the NCAA.
With seven NHL games of experience and an entire offseason of NHL training, Graf suddenly finds himself competing to make the NHL roster.
4. Will Yaroslav Askarov Force The Sharks Hand And Make The Opening Night Roster?
When GM Mike Grier acquired Yaroslav Askarov from the Nashville Predators, San Jose immediately got one of the best goalie prospects in the world.
That being said, the Sharks have Mackenzie Blackwood and Vitek Vanecek on NHL deals. Askarov is still not waiver-eligible, allowing the Sharks to move him to and from the AHL as needed.
Blackwood will likely be the opening night starter, but if Askarov really impresses at training camp, the Sharks might be forced to carry three goalies.

5. What Will Ryan Warsofsky’s Style Of Play Be Like?
Since his opening press conference, new Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky has proclaimed that the team’s playing style will change.
He has emphasized a personal connection with his new team, and he feels he can push the right buttons to get the most out of each player.
Former Sharks forward Alexander Barabanov said how San Jose played hockey last season was “primitive.”

With so many young players on the roster and the number one goal of the season being developing Celebrini, Will Smith, and other prospects, Warsofsky will need to play a newer style that fits the modern game.
The first group is set to be on the ice tomorrow at 9 a.m., and the breakdown of who is participating in each group will be released in the morning.
