The Buffalo Sabres are set to play the Dallas Stars on Tuesday (Oct. 22). This will be a tough matchup, as the Stars are one of the best teams in the NHL.

Sabres forward Ryan McLeod is a clear player to watch in this matchup. The 25-year-old forward has been on fire as of late, as he has both a four-game point streak and a three-game goal streak. Because of this, he can do something special against the Stars.
If McLeod extends his point streak to five games, it will become the longest of his career. In addition, if he scores against Dallas, he would also set the longest goal streak of his career.
Naturally, all Sabres fans should be rooting extra hard for McLeod against the Stars. He has the opportunity to hit new career bests, and it would be great for the newcomer to achieve this with Buffalo.
No matter what happens on that front, McLeod has been a nice surprise for the Sabres early on in the season.
