This morning, the NHL announced a new collaboration between Fanatics and lululemon for the launch of a new line of fan gear. The Red Wings are one of 11 teams who will be featured in the official launch, before the remaining 21 teams are included next season as the new line of merchandise goes league-wide.
“We’re big hockey fans here at lululemon, and we know our guests are too,” said Celeste Burgoyne, President, Americas and Global Guest Innovation for lululemon, in the press release announcing the new . “We’re thrilled to partner with Fanatics and the NHL to grow our presence in professional sports and introduce our high-quality performance and loungewear apparel to NHL fans around the League who share our love for the game.”
Detroit captain Dylan Larkin—along with Connor Bedard and Seth Jones of the Chicago Blackhawks, John Tavares of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Matty Beniers of the Seattle Kraken, Mark Stone of the Vegas Golden Knights, and Morgan Geekie of the Boston Bruins—served models for the new gear. This new line will go on sale a week from today (Oct. 29). Per the press release, the gear will be available at Lids-operated stores in the participating markets. For Detroit, that means the Lids at 12 Oaks Mall in Novi.
