There’s only one game on the schedule to start week six of QMJHL hockey, and it’s a match between the #14 ranked Quebec Remparts and the #15 ranked Charlottetown Islanders.

This is the second meeting between these two teams this season, having previously played October 3rd, where the Remparts were able to take down the Islanders with a final score of 6-4.

That game saw a standout two point performance from 2025 NHL Draft eligible Nathan Quinn, who is widely considered as one of the league’s top rising draft prospects. He’s at 15 points (4+11) across 13 games going into tonight’s game, and will look to only improve those totals.

2024 first overall pick Maddox Dagenais also had himself a game the last time these two teams met, scoring a goal and an assist. He’s also at 15 points over 13 games (7+8), and should be one of the top prospects in the 2026 NHL Draft.

However, the Remparts’ most prolific contributor is overager Justin Cote. The 5-foot-6 left winger is up to 21 points (11+10) over 12 games to start his ‘last dance’. His 21 points are good enough to tie Rimouski’s Mathieu Cataford for the league lead in points.

Other notables include overage defenseman Benjamin Vigneault (15 in 12), St. Louis Blues seventh rounder RW Antoine Dorion (4 in 10), 2025 NHL Draft eligible goaltender Louis-Antoine Denault (.891 over 9) and 2026 NHL eligible centerman Jayden Rousseau (9 in 11).

As for the Islanders, their leading scorer is right winger Alexis Michaud — who has 11 points (6+5) over his first 12 games of the season.

The team also boasts defenseman Marcus Kearsey (7 in 10), who received an invite to the Detroit Red Wings training camp last season after a 49-point draft eligible season.

A storyline for the team is right winger Ross Campbell, who is top three in points on the team with eight over his first 10, but has yet to have scored his first goal of the season.

The team recently lost overage defenseman Madden Steen, who decided to return back to Ontario this past week.
