Seattle Kraken Place Vince Dunn On LTIR, Recall Cale Fleury

The Seattle Kraken have placed defenseman Vince Dunn on long-term injured reserve, the team announced Monday.

In a corresponding move, defenseman Cale Fleury was recalled from the Coachella Valley Firebirds, Having started the season with the Firebirds, he scored three goals in three games.

In 2023-24, Fleury saw one game with the Kraken and 65 games with Coachella Valley. Although he was held pointless in his lone NHL appearance, he put up seven goals and 36 points in the AHL.

Drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the third round of the 2017 NHL Draft, Fleury has played in 63 career NHL regular season games, collecting two points in the process.

As Dunn get set to sit out for the foreseeable future, Fleury will likely see time on the bottom pairing for the Kraken. While his NHL numbers don’t pop out, Fleury has been a reliable producer with the Firebirds and could produce if put in the right situation.
