Buffalo Sabres Recall Jiri Kulich From Rochester Americans

by admin

The Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Jiri Kulich from their AHL affiliate Rochester Americans, per the AHL transactions page.

This move likely corresponds to Tage Thompson’s injury as he is not expected to play in Buffalo’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Nov. 16.

Thompson was listed as day-to-day on the Sabres injury report but is listed on injured reserve on the NHL Media Site as pointed out by Heather Engel.

Kulich has recorded one goal in eight games with the Sabres this season and is averaging 14:36 of time on ice.

The 20-year-old has two goals and three points in four AHL games this season. He has consistently scored since stepping into the league and has 53 goals and 94 points in 123 career AHL games.

Kulich represented the north Division at the AHL All-Star Game last season and led the 2024 World Junior Championship in points while capturing the bronze medal with Czechia.
