HAMILTON, ONTARIO. Hamilton Bulldogs Interim General Manager Matt Turek announced today an affiliation agreement with the Hamilton Kilty B’s of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) beginning with the 2022-23 season.

The Kilty B’s bring a long legacy to their affiliation with the Bulldogs including former President & General Manager Steve Staios having played for the franchise prior to his OHL career. Most recently, members of the 2022 OHL Championship Bulldogs, Marco Costantini, Mark Duarte and Matteo Drobac each spent a season with a Kilty B’s before breaking into the Bulldogs lineup. This season, the Kilty B’s are featuring Bulldogs signee David Egorov in goal with fellow Bulldogs draft picks Rory Browne and Zachary Gratton with development camp invitee Zach Ladd also on the team.

“This affiliation agreement is another step in the continued development of our young men” said Bulldogs Interim General Manager Matt Turek. “The Kilty B’s are an established franchise that share the values of the Bulldogs and will be a launching point for many more future Hamilton Bulldogs while contributing to the Kilty’s success”.

On the affiliation, Hamilton Kilty B’s President Mike Spadafora said “We are very excited to affiliate with the Hamilton Bulldogs. It is a great opportunity to work with one of Canada’s premier junior hockey franchises and help further both team’s success on and off the ice.
