The Columbus Blue Jackets are back home tonight to take on the Buffalo Sabres. This is the fourth game of the preseason for the Jackets.
After dispatching the Capitals last night on the back of an Adam Fantilli hat trick, the Jackets will be running an all-NHL lineup against the Sabres.
The Buffalo Sabres NHL-ers are in Germany preparing for their Global Series season kickoff against the New Jersey Devils. So tonight’s game will be against the Sabres minor leaguers.

Most of the Jackets’ minor leaguers have been returned to Cleveland to get ready for their camp that opens on Monday, so seeing an NHL lineup on the ice, together, is exciting. In past camps, some of the AHLers would be playing preseason games up until the end of camp, knowing full well they would always be in Cleveland. Now with Don Waddell in charge, he obviously wants the NHL guys to start building chemistry now, instead of waiting for the season to start. Very good idea.
