Time to make your plans for next season, Devils fans.
The Devils will open their 2023-24 NHL season on Thursday, Oct. 12 at home against the Detroit Red Wings at Prudential Center in Newark. Their first road game will be against the New York Islanders on Oct. 20.
The Devils’ first meeting with the New York Rangers will be Saturday, Nov. 18 at Prudential Center.
The team will be busy around the holidays. During Thanksgiving week, the Devils will have games on Friday, Nov. 24 vs. Columbus, and Saturday, Nov. 25 against Buffalo.
Around the winter holidays, they’ll host Detroit on Saturday, Dec. 23 and Columbus on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
And in February 2024, the Devils will play the Philadelphia Flyers at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford as part of the Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series. The Devils-Flyers game will be on Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. It will be the first outdoor NHL game played in New Jersey.
