Daylen Moses commits to Greyhounds – Ontario Hockey League

Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis announced today the latest signing in advance of the commencement of the 2022-23 Ontario Hockey League season this weekend.

Today, free agent Daylen Moses agreed to a Standard Player Agreement and Education Package with the Program.

“Throughout development camp, Daylen made a great impression on all of the staff. He arrived at our main camp with a chip on his shoulder, ready to earn a spot. He continued this progress in exhibition with a really strong performance,” explained Raftis.

“He plays with tenacity and speed. We really believe that Daylen has the raw abilities that can turn him into a very impactful forward and we are excited to watch him develop when working with our staff,” he concluded.

Moses, a native of Ottawa Ontario appeared in 26 games with the Ottawa Senators U18AAA club in 2021-22 where he recorded 11 goals and eight assists in the regular season before adding three points (1G, 2A) in four post-season contests.

“I want to give a huge thank-you to my parents for always supporting and believing in me. I would also like to thank all my coaches – Jordan Johnson Brendon Doherty and especially coach Steve Mallet with OJS,” said the 6-foot-1, 169 lb centremena.

“I’m super excited to get to know the Sault Ste. Marie community and start the season with the Soo Greyhounds,” he added.
