The Devils have re-signed forward Adam Beckman to a one-year, two-way contract, general manager Tom Fitzgerald and assistant general manager Dan MacKinnon announced.
The deal will be worth $775,000 at the NHL level and $125,000 at the AHL level, with $150,000 guaranteed.
The 23-year-old came to the New Jersey organization in a June trade with the Minnesota Wild for forward Graeme Clarke, who New Jersey selected five picks after Beckman in the 2019 NHL Draft.
Beckman has made 23 appearances for the Wild over the past three seasons. He has tallied 11 assists, but yet to score on 93 shots on goal and is a minus-5. The winger averaged 10:02 time on the ice in those games.
In 51 games at the AHL level last season, he tallied 33 points (19 goals, 14 assists), to lead the team in goals and finish fourth in points.
He has scored 57 goals with 51 assists in his 181 career games at that level and was a minus-29.
