Standing at 6’0”, Surzycia backstopped the Georgina Ice of the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) to 6 wins last season. Through 22 games with the club, the Toronto, Ontario native recorded a .935 save percentage and a goals-against average of 3.08.
