It was an incredibly busy week in the world of British Ice Hockey, with tonnes of action to discuss across the Elite League, National League, World Junior Championship, and ECHL. Here are all the details you need to know from the last seven days.

Elite League: 

The Sheffield Steelers enjoyed a four-point weekend on their travels in Scotland, with wins over the Glasgow Clan and Dundee Stars. The Belfast Giants also recorded a perfect set of results, overcoming the Manchester Storm and Coventry Blaze in back-to-back road games.

Great Britain U20s, 2023 World Junior Championship (Division 2A):

Team Great Britain won four times in five fixtures to secure a second-place finish at the 2023 World Junior Championship. They will remain in the same division for next year’s edition of the tournament.

Liam Kirk and the ECHL’s Atlanta Gladiators:

Team Great Britain forward Liam Kirk added a secondary assist to his tally with the Atlanta Gladiators, improving his record on the season to eight points (three goals, five assists) in 11 appearances.
