Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Nicolas Hague has been placed on the injured reserve.
Nic Hague has been placed on IR.
Hague was injured on 10/25, missed the 3rd period. He then missed 3 games before returning on 11/2. He played 13:48 seconds in that game, nearly the same as his D-partner. He was then scratched and described as day-to-day on 11/6.

The 25-year-old defender suffered a lower-body injury against the Ottawa Senators on Oct. 25, forcing him to miss the third period. He was then out of the lineup for the following three games before returning on Nov. 2 to play Utah HC. He was once again scratched for Wednesday’s contest against the Edmonton Oilers.
Ahead of tonight’s matchup against the Seattle Kraken, Hague finds himself on the IR, which will force him to be out for the next seven days or three games.
Kaedan Korczak had replaced Hague in the lineup for the first three games he missed, posting excellent results and-handedly winning his minutes. Korczak was forced to the press box for Hague’s return but when he couldn’t dress against the Oilers, it was Ben Hutton who HC Bruce Cassidy turned to instead of Korczak.

Cassidy’s decision of who gets into the lineup tonight won’t be known until warmups but both Hutton and Korczak have made strong cases for themselves. Despite sitting out for numerous games, they’ve both been able to jump into the lineup and look like they’ve been playing every night.
The Kraken have struggled to produce offence as of late and with the Golden Knights playing some of their best hockey recently, the six defenders they elect to play will need to be focused and not take their opponent lightly.
