The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks men’s hockey program announced on Twitter (@RidgebacksMHKY) Monday that Soo Greyhounds forward Cullen McLean has committed for the 2021-22 season.

A 20-year-old native of Brooklin, Ont., McLean will play close to home on the Oshawa campus after putting up 26 points (11-15–26) over 111 regular season games with the Hounds from 2018-20. The former 15th round (298th overall) OHL Priority Selection choice in 2017 is a graduate of the Ajax-Pickering Raiders U16 and U18 programs.

The 6-foot-2, 174Ib. left-winger joins fellow OHL grads Kelton Hatcher and Marko Jakovljevic, both of the Sarnia Sting, in Ontario Tech’s 2021 recruitment class.
