The Nashville Predators on Monday put forward Cody Glass on injured reserve and recalled defenseman Marc Del Gaizo from the Milwaukee Admirals.
Glass, 24, has missed the past three games and hasn’t played since Oct. 19. He has zero goals and zero assists and is averaging 13 minutes, 4 seconds of ice time per game. He had 14 goals and 21 assists in 72 games last season.
The Predators originally expected Glass to be out seven to 10 days.
The 5-foot-11, 188-pound Del Gaizo was picked by the Predators in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Draft. In 71 games with the Admirals last season, he posted career bests in assists (28), points (31) and penalty minutes (50). He has no goals and one assist in five games with Milwaukee this season.
The Predators won their previous game 3-2 in overtime Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Their next game is at 9 p.m. Tuesday against the Vancouver Canucks, the start of a five-game road trip.
