The Petes welcomed the rival Oshawa Generals to the PMC for the 14th annual Pink in the Rink game on Saturday, February 4. The focus of the 14th annual Pink in the Rink Campaign was to celebrate and honour Hockey Moms who have been affected by cancer. Five local hockey moms: Jennie Ireland, Dara Gosselin, Elke Rye, Karen Tarkington, and Dana Thorn were named Ambassadors for the 2023 Campaign. They joined Physician Ambassador Dr. Neera Jeyabalan, PRHC Foundation President and CEO Leslie Heighway on the ice before the game for a ceremony recognizing all of their cancer journeys. The Petes also wore special themed jerseys designed by Kyle McDonald, which highlighted the names of nearly 200 people who have battled cancer. The jerseys were auctioned off after the game, with all proceeds in support of the PRHC Foundation.

In total, the 14th annual Pink in the Rink Campaign raised $62,600, bringing the Petes that much closer to their $1,000,000 dollar goal.

An all-time record attendance of 3,912 took in the game, which also included a record 50/50 of $9,360 awarded to one lucky fan.
