The Rangers announced on Wednesday morning that the team has agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with forward Jimmy Vesey.
The new deal will keep the 29-year-old in New York through the 2024-25 season.
Originally a third-round pick of the Nashville Predators in 2012, Vesey is in his seventh NHL season. Over the course of his time with the Rangers, Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks and Devils, Vesey has totaled 78 goals and 69 assists in 460 career regular season games.
In 38 games with the Blueshirts this season, Vesey has recorded six goals and six assists.
