Barrie, Ont. — The Barrie Colts are proud to announce the signing of 2006-born forward, Riley Patterson.
Patterson was named the Ontario Junior Hockey League Top Rookie and was recognized as the Canadian Junior Hockey League Top Rookie Recipient from nine Jr. A leagues across Canada. He has committed to the Colts after being acquired yesterday from the Flint Firebirds.
Registering 73 points (30-43-73) in only 52 games last season, he led his entire team in all statistical categories.

Riley had a great year with the North York Rangers Tier II Jr. A organization last season with a very impressive 73 points in his first season. Riley adds a great element of high-end skill to our line-up and we are excited to help him continue his development”, commented Head Coach & GM, Marty Williamson.
Patterson joins the Colts after previously being selected by the Flint Firebirds in the 3rd Round of the 2022 OHL Priority Selection and committing to Michigan State University.
