The Guelph Storm honoured Ryan Callahan prior to their Saturday afternoon matchup against the Kitchener Rangers, raising his #24 to the rafters of the Sleeman Centre.
A former 15th round OHL Priority Selection choice, Callahan went on to become an OHL champion and Overage Player of the Year with the franchise, scoring a record 130 goals over four seasons (2002-06). The Rochester, NY native went on to play 757 regular season games in the NHL, recording 186 goals and 200 assists.
