Over the weekend, a video surfaced of the Great One Wayne Gretzky mic’d up as a member of the Los Angeles Kings.
The video shows just how smart and dominant Gretzky was during his time in the NHL.
Ironically, the Kings were playing the Pittsburgh Penguins and in the video you see Gretzky and Mario Lemieux sharing the ice.
When video’s like this, surface online, it gives the younger generation a chance to see what the game of hockey was like years ago.
During his time with the Kings, he was able to score 672 points in 539 games. In his career, he scored the most points ever by an NHL player, 2,857 points in 1,487 games,
There is a reason why they call him the Great One, and aside from the point totals, the video shows his hockey IQ on full display.
