The Nashville Predators are back on the Bridgestone Arena ice after a few days off to face the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday.

The Predators (3-4-0) played poorly in a 3-2 loss against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday and have had three full days to sit on that performance.

The Maple Leafs (5-2-0) have gotten good starts from William Nylander (five goals and six assists in seven games), John Tavares (four goals and seven assists) and Auston Matthews (seven goals).

It’s the first season for coach Andrew Brunette and GM Barry Trotz in their positions in Nashville, though Brunette was a player in the Preds’ early days and Trotz was the team’s first coach.
